Margate Beatles poster up for sale

Found this rather interesting item on ebay, a 1963 Beatles poster when the fab four appeared at the Winter Gardens on July 8th of that year . The asking price is £1,000.
If it goes that would certainly put up the value on the Beatles poster in the Margate Museum collection up a notch or two.

I've no idea Tony, but according to Mark Lewisohn's highly-rated book 'The Complete Beatles Chronicle', they played 6 consecutive nights there from monday 8th until saturday 13th July, performing to two "houses" each night, & their 9-song repertoire for the shows was 'Roll Over Beethoven', 'Thank You Girl', 'Chains', 'Please Please Me', 'A Taste Of Honey', 'I Saw Her Standing There', 'Baby It's You', 'From Me To You' & 'Twist And Shout'. On wednesday the 10th they got up early & headed to London to tape two BBC radio shows (for later transmission), rushing back just in time for the first concert that day.
