Wild child ?

Whatever the outcome of the next general election we will without doubt be entering into a new political era with the previous era like every other era destined for the history books. Like everything else with hindsight there are many lessons to be learned and how they were dealt with. One such example of political disaster has to be the Poll Tax that led to the eventual fall of Margaret Thatcher. Whether direct action by the people had anything to do with Mrs T's downfall we will never know. However, I was pleased I played my part joining the demonstration as in the picture by 250,000 people against the Poll Tax twenty years ago.
